The curriculum at ABC Growing Tree Learning Center has been developed to ensure that each child will be prepared for the beginning of elementary school through carefully thought out and stimulating lesson plans. Our Director and Head Teacher take great pride in the development of our curriculum. They then work one on one with our teachers to develop the lesson plans.
The best learning centers have structured schedules that include plenty of time for physical activity, quiet time (including daily reading sessions for groups and individuals), group programs, individual activities, meals, snacks, and free time.
Our teachers are approved by the State of New Jersey to teach early childhood education. Each teacher is required to meet or exceed the state requirements for additional childcare center training including CPR and First Aid.
Each teacher or staff member is available for interviews or conferences upon request. There are telephones in each classroom so that you can call for an update at any time.
Contact with our Sponsors, The Director, Head Teacher, and other staff is as simple as a phone call or email. If you wish drop by at any time to chat about your children or just to observe.
At ABC Growing Tree Learning Center, TV and videos play little or no part in what your child does all day; if videos are part of the curriculum, they are age-appropriate and, ideally, somewhat educational, teaching about animals, other cultures, and so on. We know that a well-thought-out curriculum encourages your child's development and makes daily life more fun.
We start our children on computers as early as 2 1/2 years of age.
